Windows System Administrator (f/m/x)

Norderstedt (near Hamburg)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PowerShell scripting, Windows imaging, deployment, and automation processes. If you bring good understanding of security best practices, coupled with all round
knowledge of IT Infrastructure, you would be a good fit for our team.

Your Skills

  • PowerShell Scripting: Proficiency in writing and debugging PowerShell scripts for automation and deployment tasks
  • Experience in Windows Administration, providing 2nd level support for Windows Systems

  • Experience with Windows registry keys and system configuration

  • Experience with Hyper-V or other virtualization platforms for creating and testing images
  • Familiarity with using WinPE for deployment and recovery tasks
  • Understanding of configuring and managing Group Policies for deployment
  • Advantageous, Remote Monitoring and Management experience using ConnectWise. Automate
  • Good networking skills
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving issues related to Windows deployment and imaging

Nice to Haves:

  • DISM (Deployment Imaging Service and Management Tool): Experience using DISM for capturing, servicing, and deploying Windows images
  • Knowledge of managing Windows Imaging WIM files for deployment

Your profile

  • University Degree in Computer Science or IT, Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration or equivalent IT education
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Proven experience in Windows OS Administration. In-depth knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows Server Administration (2016 onwards), including user management, system settings, and security configurations
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation, deployment and administrative tasks
  • Ability to document processes, scripts, and configurations clearly and concisely
  • Basic networking knowledge, including experience with NAS devices and switches
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Meticulous approach to work, ensuring accuracy in all tasks
  • Effective communication skills

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with RMM tools
  • Firewall administration
