Head of R&D Software Development

Your main tasks:

• Leading teams of highly skilled and specialized software developers
• The team designs, creates and maintains software for various hardware platforms
• Interaction within R&D and with other departments as well as realization and maintenance of new laser systems
• Planning and monitoring software progress within the projects
• Developing the skills and strengths of your team

You have…

• at least 8 years of professional experience in hardware-related software development
• a university degree in computer science, natural sciences, communications engineering or a related field
• several years of management experience (technical and disciplinary)
• a good knowledge of programming languages, e.g. C++ and/or Python
• a strong attitude towards continuous integration (preferably experience with Jenkins and Docker)
• strong experience in agile software development using Atlassian tools
• proficiency in the English and German language
