The terminal, located in the heart of the Adriatic, is to accommodate growing demand and to become the future interchange platform between sea and rail on the intersection of Baltic, Adriatic and Mediterranean railway.

Position:

The gate monitors and controls the entry and exit operations of vessels in the port area.

Purpose of the job:

• Manage cargo entry and exit records. Check the correctness and completeness of the documentation provided by the carrier
• Solving of troubles related to truck visits
• Implementation of various administrative processes
• Manage and archive transit and dangerous goods documentation
• Capturing key operating data into the terminal’s IT systems
• Perform other duties as assigned by the shift leader
• Comply with all the safety and security rules and regulations lead by example
• Handling of customs issues
• Support the department and business unit where required
• Follow the corporate authority matrix, contract policies and compliance guidelines
• Actively report and suggest improvement opportunities to direct manager.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work in a team
• Previous experience in the role
• Intermediate English proficiency (other languages are a plus)
• Good Excel knowledge
• Wilingness to work shifts (including night shifts and weekends) and flexible hours
• Ability to work under pressure
• Driving license (B)
